Golam Ahmad Murtaza’s enduring legacy includes the establishment of institutions like Mamoon National School, which has served as a beacon of educational enlightenment. Over the last two decades, Mamoon National School has not only provided quality education but has also played a pivotal role in shaping the careers of numerous doctors, engineers, and government officers.
He authored over 20 books, including translations and transliterations of the Holy Quran in Bengali. Through Biswa Bangiya Prakashan, his publishing house, he tirelessly disseminated knowledge for the society.
Jamia Islamia Madinatul Uloom, a distinguished theology college founded (in 1968) by Golam Ahmad Murtaza, holds recognition from prestigious institutions such as Aligarh Muslim University, Maulana Azad National Urdu University, and the National Institute of Open Schooling.
His commitment to education extended further with the foundation of a government-aided higher secondary school, accredited by the West Bengal Board of Madrasah Education. Additionally, his initiatives, such as Al Madina Education & Welfare Society, aimed at uplifting the socio-economic status of marginalized communities.
